About

The Watabombshell Story

Enock Darko, popularly known as Watabombshell, is a Ghanaian actor and comedian who has built a strong name for himself across Ghana's Ghallywood and Nigeria's Nollywood film industries. Born on December 31, 1996, in Accra, Ghana, to a Nigerian mother and Ghanaian father, Enock discovered his love for performance early — entertaining classmates and crowds at school events and local funfairs long before the cameras found him.

His big break came in 2011, when he placed as a runner-up on TV3's Talented Kids Season 2, a moment that introduced his comedic talent to a national audience. From there, he built a name for himself in Ghana's film scene before making the move to Nigeria, where he landed his Nollywood debut in Joro, starring alongside Destiny Etiko, Stella Udeze, and Toosweet Annan.

It didn't take long for Enock's larger-than-life comedic energy to earn him the nickname "Watabombshell" — a name that now doubles as his brand across film, comedy, and social media. He has since appeared in dozens of Nollywood productions, become the founder of the comedy collective Team Fooling Nation, and built an engaged following across Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.

In 2019, he was honored by the Film Directors Guild of Ghana at the Ghana Film Summit for his contribution to the Ghanaian film industry, and has picked up further recognition from Nollywood production houses and award bodies since.
